Custom Pet Portraits
It's not too soon to start thinking about holiday gifts! I work in colored pencil and mixed media, on heavyweight archival paper, doing all animals. See "Commission a Portrait" for information about sizes and price options.
Most of my career has been spent working in secondary and college level theatre education, but no matter what I'm doing, I almost always have a pencil or marker in hand, illustrating ideas, creating thumbnail drawings for designers, sketching characters as they walk by. Recently, I've started creating portraits of animals in colored pencil. I hope to capture in some small way, a sense of the innocent and guileless way our animal friends move through the world - they give me something to aspire to.
